Please add meaningful summary to the Terms of service static page on the admin dashboard.

The NFDI4Objects Community Hub (community.nfdi4objects.net) is an open platform for exchange, co-creation, and collaboration within our professional community.

0. General and Professional Etiquette

  • We maintain a respectful, factual, and professional tone in the Community Hub.

  • Criticism is welcome, but personal attacks or derogatory remarks are not.

  • Even when opinions differ, it is important to listen, consider others’ perspectives, and argue constructively.

  • Discussions in the Community Hub are publicly visible and represent our professional community – please always act in the spirit of collegial and constructive dialogue.

1. Public Nature of Content

  • All content you create or upload in the Community Hub is publicly accessible by default. This includes, but is not limited to, discussions, comments, proposals, events, uploaded files, and profile information.

  • Content may be viewed by all visitors to the platform (even without an account) unless explicitly marked as private.

2. Permanent Availability

  • Content you publish will remain online even if you delete or stop using your account.

  • If you delete your account, all your past contributions will be anonymised (e.g., displayed as “Former user / Deleted user”) but will remain accessible in their original context.

3. Responsibility for Content

  • You are responsible for all content you post on the Community Hub. Do not share personal data of third parties or confidential information unless explicitly intended for publication.

  • By posting content, you grant NFDI4Objects the right to store, publicly display, and archive the content as part of the documentation of community activities.

4. Modification and Removal

  • Content may be edited or removed by moderators if it violates applicable law, these terms, or community guidelines.

  • Requests for removal or correction of specific content will be reviewed and handled in accordance with applicable law.
