Definitions of vagueness, uncertainty and their combination in the Cultural Heritage Domain

This contribution from the NFDI4Objects TWG – Community Standards for Modelling Fuzziness & Wobbliness in Research Data Using Semantic Web Technologies and Formalisms (FuzzyWobblySW) provides a basic explanation and definition of the terms: uncertainty, vagueness, and ‘fuzziness & wobbliness’ from the TWG’s perspective. These definitions serve as the basis for the preparation of further white papers by the TWG.
