QGIS-Plugin: Field Connect

Field Connect is a plugin for QGIS developed by the Head Office of the GBV Common Library Network (VZG) which allows exchanging data between QGIS and Field Desktop. In this context, it can also be used to create GeoPackage files from the data of a Field project.

Field Connect can be installed from the official QGIS plugin repository. Please refer to the user manual for information on how to install and use the plugin.

idaifieldR: Data import from Field to R

The R package idaifieldR imports data from the iDAI.field / Field Desktop database into R without the hassle of CSV exports. This package uses the PouchDB API to connect to your running Field Desktop installation and store the entire database (or just a subset) in a list right in R's memory. With idaifieldR, you can update your data on-the-fly and flexibly re-run any R script.
