Es vereint eine gemeinsam entwickelte kuratierte Metadatenempfehlung für die Dokumentation von Konservierungs- und Restaurierungsmaterialien inklusive SKOS-modelliertem Metadatenvokabulare mit stabilen Identifiern sowie eine darauf aufbauende fachspezifische Ontologie für Konservierungs-Restaurierungsprozesse. Das CDF bieten Nutzenden eine Grundlage für die semantische Modellierung restauratorischer Dokumentationen, von der praktischen Erfassung bis zur interoperablen Weiterverarbeitung in Forschungs-, Sammlungs- und Langzeitarchivierungskontexten.
